Position Summary:


The Facilities Assistant provides a full range of facilities support for all ICAT’s common areas. Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Facilities Assistant will maintain common areas, assist with meetings and facilities coordination, and provide general support to the Company. The Facilities Assistant will independently and collaboratively provide a full range of facilities and meeting support ensuring excellent customer service.


Essential Responsibilities:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.

  • Sets-up, monitor, and clean-up for ICAT snack and meal service during an all company events or upon request
  • Cleans and organizes storage rooms, conference rooms and kitchen areas.
  • Verifies, orders and stocks inventory in storage rooms.
  • Manages Recycling Project.
  • Light handyperson tasks
  • Advises manager of any major issues for janitorial/maintenance.
  • Provides pre-planning, implementation and closure services for meeting and conferences, including identification meeting space, furniture set-up and break-down, equipment, meal and beverage service, and presentation materials.
  • Sets-up and removes nametags and signage.
  • Advises supervisor of any issues to ensure orderly and efficient operations.
  • Reception coverage.
  • Runs errands as required.
  • Collect and disrepute mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain knowledge of and support ICAT’s company values and strategic plan
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Sit or stand and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach.
  • Work is generally scheduled Monday through Friday with some evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
  • Perform general office administrative activities, including copying, filing and using the phone.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of facilities/office and administrative experience required.
  • Requires reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
