The EDI Coordinator provides internal and external support as an Electronic Data Interface resource and subject matter expert. This position is responsible for providing vendor management to ensure the data interfaces are being completed effectively between the external vendors, third parties and carriers. This position will facilitate the integration process to ensure the configuration of each client is being completed while adhering to necessary project plans, timelines and quality standards. The EDI Coordinator should possess subject matter expertise with designing, implementing and maintaining complex interfaces specific to census, payroll and carrier files. - Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 3 years experience working with Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) - Minimum of 1 year experience working with external vendors and third parties. - Demonstrated experience with file troubleshooting and configuration experience required. - Working knowledge of EDI 834 Benefit Enrollment Specification. - Experience within a health care, health and welfare consulting, insurance brokerage, human resources consulting, or employee benefits related industry is highly preferred. - Related exposure to Benefits Administration, COBRA, Spending Accounts, HRIS, and/or Payroll environments is a plus.
