We have an immediate opening for an entry level Research Associate to join the Securities and Finance practice in our London office. Candidates should hold a BA/BS/BSc from a top tier university, in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering or a related field, with exceptional analytical skills and a strong academic record. Coursework and/or experience in finance, accounting, economics, applied maths, statistics, and regression analysis/econometrics and computer programming is desirable. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, have the ability to think analytically and critically, and have excellent oral and written communications skills.
Responsibilities may include designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric techniques to economic and financial data; collecting market, industry, company, and competitor information; reviewing, summarising and analysing industry trends; managing large data sets and writing programmes to implement complex analyses; creating trial exhibits; drafting memos, expert reports and presentation materials; and participating in client and team meetings and conference calls.
Fluency in English is required, and fluency in additional European languages would be an advantage but is not required.
