The Data Privacy Leader is part of Mercer’s Global Privacy team within Legal and Compliance, supporting oversight of matters relating to Data Privacy. This position will lead the strategic direction of Data Privacy in the Americas and will support the strategy globally.

We will count on you to:
- Minimum of 5 -10 years of privacy experience
- Experience drafting privacy notices; managing data incidents; leading Privacy Impact Assessments; negotiating contracts; leading regulatory change management programs; drafting policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge/understanding of laws and ability to interpret them to internal clients
What you need to have:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required, and JD, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Professional certification in information privacy protection/privacy (i.e. CIPP/US; CIPM) is preferred

- Demonstrated ability to set strategy for privacy programs
- Expertise in global Data Protection laws
