Our Global Total Rewards Team is seeking a Compensation Manager to join our team in New York reporting to the Global Total Rewards Director. The position will provide direct support to assigned businesses in addition to managing projects and contributing to compensation strategy across the firm. The Compensation Manager will conduct analysis and make recommendations to address individual situations as well as program changes. It will lead or support projects including project planning, coordination, facilitation, administration, communication and reporting updates.

Overview

The role will support and implement compensation strategies and programs as well as contribute to compensation strategy through project management, analysis and recommendation development.

We'll need this role to:

  • Provide consulting services to HR, lines of business and compensation team by researching and analyzing complex compensation issues.
  • Provide advanced analysis and generate complex reports from large databases; create and manipulate complex databases to manage employee data and competitive compensation data.
  • Prepare compensation proposals and/or modeling by consolidating and packaging data for leadership and develop business focused recommendations based on the analysis in order to make compensation recommendations to management and leadership.
  • Partner with HR business partners regarding compensation and related matters providing subject matter expertise on competitive offers, pay equity and pay mix to ensure internal equity and appropriate external competitive positioning.
  • Conduct job evaluation through market pricing and internal pay equity analysis.
  • Understand market practices and trends for the industry in relevant countries.
  • Act as an expert resource during year-end review process by assisting in communication material development, system testing, supporting HR and managers on program and system questions and auditing data.
  • Contribute to building Total Rewards capabilities in the organization through communication and education initiatives.
  • Manage directly or contribute to Total Rewards projects such as implementation of new programs and systems and continuous improvement of existing programs including incentive design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in compensation
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and concepts including market pricing and compensation plan/structure design
  • Must have advanced proficiency with Excel, as well as other Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
  • Able to perform analysis on large amounts of data, draw conclusions and provide recommendations
  • Experience in sales incentive plans design (is desired)
  • Experience with Workday (is desired)
  • Experience with survey participation, market pricing, job evaluation (is desired) and FLSA
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Must be a collaborative self-starter
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Consulting approach and ability to work on multiple priorities
