Job Overview:

This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of our thought leadership microsite ( and supporting business-to-business social media marketing initiatives in support of Marsh & McLennan’s MMC Advantage strategy. The successful candidate will have strong organizational, written and visual storytelling skills and will be able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines working with colleagues around the world. Applicants should have experience using content management systems, social media publishing and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and launch website landing pages that promote our thought leadership and industry/global capabilities, working closely with team members to curate content assets, secure approvals and publish pages on schedule
  • Maintain existing pages and manage posting schedule to ensure content remains current
  • Develop and manage the MMC Advantage team’s intranet content, working closely with IT to ensure design and navigation deliver optimal user experience
  • Track and analyse usage and readership metrics for digital marketing channels (external and internal), including website landing pages, newsletters, intranet, etc. [
  • Prepare monthly global performance reports and assist with creation of campaign performance reports
  • Create and manage running calendar of internal and external events and report launch dates
  • Liaise with Marketing colleagues and MMC Advantage team members to support development of compelling, creative digital/social media assets that promote global campaigns and events
  • Support efforts to engage followers and establish community of Marsh & McLennan influencers on key platforms
  • Stay current with digital and social media trends and tools and recommend new innovations to support marketing/content distribution efforts; apply SEO techniques to increase visibility of content
  • Research and prepare regular competitive analyses and audience profile reports
  • Assist with social media tool administration and general day-to-day administrative tasks

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience providing web support and promoting content on major social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others
  • Experience working with content management systems
  • Experience working for a management consultancy and/or professional services firm preferred
  • Experience implementing and working with global social media platforms like Social Studio, LinkedIn Elevate a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Proven success in using website and social media publishing and analytics tools
  • Experience with some or all: HTML, Adobe Experience Manager, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, PhotoShop, Salesforce Social Studio and Sharepoint
