We’re looking for candidates who have demonstrated success through academic and professionalachievementsin economics, finance,or related fields such as accounting, statistics, andcomputerscience.Individuals should enjoy solving analytical and empirical problems andhaveexceptionalcreative and critical thinking skills, aswellasexcellentoralandwritten communications skills.
Responsibilitiesmayinclude: designing and buildingquantitativemodelsand applying econometric analysisto economic and financial data;valuation analyses; reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends; creatingtrial exhibits and presentation materials;writingcode for complex data analysis;participatinginclient meetings; and drafting memos and expert reports. There islittletonotravelinvolvedwiththeposition.
ResearcherQualifications:NERA welcomes candidateswith a BA or a BS in any major toapply.As a qualifiedcandidateyou should beabletodemonstrate exceptional analytical andcritical thinking skills andmustbe detail-oriented, haveexceptional communication skills, and workwellon teams. Strongcourseworkand/or experience infinance, economics, accounting, statistical analysis/econometrics, andcomputerprogrammingare all desirable.
