The Field Marketing Leader, West Market is the strategic marketing partner to the West Market CEO and the West Market Leadership team, including Office Leaders and West Market Business Leaders. His/her primary responsibility is to identify new brand-building and revenue growth channels that enable local offices and sales leaders to achieve measurable gains toward achieving local market leadership for Mercer’s Health, Wealth and Career lines of business.
The position requires an experienced and creative B2B marketer who is adept at developing local and regional association partnerships and leading local teams to develop preferred relationships through integrated sales and marketing execution. This position requires someone who embraces their role as a growth agent in partnership with the Market Leadership Team and the broader sales team. In addition, this role is one where pride and accountability in the measurable execution of all sales and marketing initiatives whether in a leadership, influencer or support role.
The Field Marketing Leader, West Market will sit on the US marketing team with a strong dotted line to the West Market CEO. He/she will play a role that is growing in importance. You will ensure strong connections are made in bringing regional campaigns and national events to all offices for appropriate execution. You will educate the broader regional marketing team on local execution needs to continuously improve regional campaign effectiveness. You will collaborate across all marketing groups to drive effective integration of field tactics into strategy, deployment and measurement. You are as business savvy as you are marketing savvy with a committed to being measured on how you influence the growth of the business through your leadership and actions with the team.
