Risk & Controls Security Senior Analyst - Mercer
Application Security is a critical component of a company’s compliance strategy. We are looking for a subject matter expert to greatly enhance our capabilities in this space. As the Security Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for business application security for Mercer Services. This will include resolving security questions, developing and implementing termination & quarterly security review procedures and evaluating risks and controls. You will also perform periodic application access security reviews and security administration tasks as needed. It’s important you possess the ability to understand the application and tools supported by Risk & Controls Centralized Security including security procedures and systems capabilities.
Your responsibilities will also include the following:
- Implement new applications as part of the daily termination user access and quarterly security review process.
- Create and perform management reporting for daily imports and Quarterly Security Reviews as needed
- Facilitate the SOC 1 & 2 population and evidence gathering with the off shore team and verify all evidence is in good order prior to submission
- Perform application security reviews, compiling a consolidated user list, running reports, performing access comparisons, and obtaining exception approvals as needed
- Monitor global email inbox to answer routine questions and route incoming requests as appropriate
- Support additional application security review efforts as needed
- Identify and implement security process improvements
- Provide support for SOC 1 GCC processes and interact with auditors as needed
- Perform ad hoc projects as required
You will provide guidance to our offshore team and function as the escalation point for them. You should have good analytical skills to determine solutions and solid time/project management skills to produce time sensitive reports.
